This fluorite was mined in 1990 and is considered to be the finest example from the Minerva Mine "Bluecap" Pocket. These are unique pieces having yellow bodies with a near flawless edge in a rich vibrant blue. Singularly the most sought after from the most famous fluorite producing locality on earth, Hardin County, Illinois, USA. The very few that exist are instantly recognizable for their unique form and colors.
