Tourmaline
Jenipapo District, Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil
6.7 cm tall x 6 cm wide
Tourmaline does not have a color, it is a species of endless colors. The variations, hues, and combinations defy description. This crystal has an extreme stark color change from the deepest darkest blue rising up and meeting a thin white stripe and then terminating in the most vivid fiery red. The strength of color, the sharp distinctions, and the excellence of form makes this crystal one among very few.
